A wine with incredibly inky hues with layers of perfumed plum, dark berries, and mocha aromas followed by hints of spice. The texture on the palate is ultra-concentrated and silky with blackberry flavors and a touch of black pepper, cocoa, and allspice, leading to the lush, lingering, and focused finish.
It is composed of 45% Cabernet Sauvignon 2019, 45% Montepulciano 2019 and 10% Petit Verdot 2019. After fermentation, maceration was extended for 20 days, adding to the wine's velvety texture and concentrated, intense flavors before barrel aging. The wine aged 36 months in small, fine-grain American oak barrels ranging from 1 to 3 years old. The wine's structure, color, and fruit expression are very well balanced. This wine will age gracefully over the next ten years or more.
